1. What is your shop name and what do you sell? My shop name is FairyFae and I sell images of my original fairy paintings. The images are prints which I make into greeting cards, ACEOs and larger prints for wall art.

5. What is your favorite thing about Etsy? The community!

6. What is your favorite thing about what you sell? The creativity and the other-worldliness.

7. What is your favorite item in your own shop and why? I think I love the Basil Fairy the most. I worked hard on her and she is beautiful. I took photos of my own home-grown Basil for some of the images in the painting.

8. What teams do you belong to? I belong to the POEST team! Pagans Of Etsy Street Team

9. What is the most fun thing you do to promote your shop? Blogging. It is terrific fun!

10. What are some of your favorite finds by other sellers on Etsy? Navajo handmade goat soap by Itafrank. She also has lots of other items in her shop. CardinalDesigns has terrific medicine bags that are so magical, as well as art gourds.

11. What do you do in your spare time? Spare time? What is that? Just kidding. I love to garden. But now most of the gardening season is over so I love to hike. I take my dogs with me. I also have 2 cats and 2 birds.

12. What blogs do you follow? I follow Blackfeatherfarm, Gypsymarestudios and Katherine a.k.a. Kathie's Corner, but my blog is very new and I want to follow some more!

13. Do you have anything else you would like to share? I would just like to say thank you very much and I would love to feature you, too! If you want to have me feature you, let's do it soon before the November is over.

5. What is your favorite thing about Etsy? It is easy to set up shop and I don't have to deal with the hassle of maintaining my own site.

6. What is your favorite thing about what you sell? Part of me goes into every painting that I do and then goes out into the world!

7. What is your favorite item in your own shop and why? Right now it is Gourd Love.
I painted it for the Watercolor Works September challenge. I usually paint flowers, so this involved stepping out of my comfort zone since we all had to work from the same set of three photos. I love how I was able to put emotion into a couple of vegetables through artistic license.

8. What teams do you belong to? Watercolor Works, VAST and Acetsy (ACEO)

9. What is the most fun thing you do to promote your shop? blogging; I enjoy it much more than I thought I would. It's great to have a place to put new work when it's barely even dried, and I like being able to give some background on what inspires me.

10. What are some of your favorite finds by other sellers on Etsy? Lauren Alexander's watercolor ACEOs, Bear Creek Pottery tea bowls, Keys and Memories typewriter key necklace, North Star Alpaca yarn and Lava jewelry. Oh, and pixelcafe for my banner and avatar!

11. What do you do in your spare time? Paint! Enjoy the outdoors. And spend time with my two children and dog.

just this last spring, and not in the winsome hollow shop until june.

5. What is your favorite thing about Etsy?

that it is a wonderful outlet, letting artists from around the world share and affordably sell their hand made work, completely at their own pace. i love selling locally as well, but sending your creations around the world is truly special.

6. What is your favorite thing about what you sell?

well, that each piece of my work is created uniquely and by using all natural materials of heirloom quality, allowing them to be enjoyed and passed down through the years, igniting many imaginations along the way!

7. What is your favorite item in your own shop and why?

the image of the tree has always been very influential on both my art and the little magical world i've created in winsome hollow. to now create trees in a more literal form is both so much fun and full of endless possibilities!

well, it is actually through promoting others...i love finding beautiful creations by other sellers on etsy and making collections in treasuries. people often find my shop through my treasuries and treasury promotions...and i've been fortunate enough to have some of my treasuries featured on the front page of etsy!
