It's a Pumpkin Addiction!

One of my worst addictions is Pumpkin fragrances! I have so many I even don't know which ones to choose in the Fall.

Pumpkin Spice - A warm spicy pumpkin-clove type with a cinnamon top note, a fruity vegetal pumpkin middle note and a sweet sugary vanilla base note.


Pumpkin Pie - Fresh baked pumpkin pie baked with cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and ginger. This is one of my staples in my living room year-round. It has a touch of caramel that just makes it delectable. It does have a touch of “sweet” so if you don’t like a sweet pumpkin, try Pumpkin Thyme or Pumpkin Souffle which are both fantastic!

Gingerbread Pumpkin - A scrumptious blend of sweet and spicy gingerbread infused with creamy pumpkin!

And....

Butternut Pumpkin - A blend of butternut squash, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, clove and vanilla.

Caramel Pumpkin Bliss - Creamy pumpkin pie infused with creamy caramel to create a sweet fragrance that makes home a place you never want to leave.

Pumpkin Cake - My obsession with Pumpkin continues! Warm pumpkin cake frosted with thick, creamy white buttercream frosting. Definitely one of a kind!

Pumpkin Maple Pecan (NEW!) - Love this addition! This new blend of sweet pumpkin and nutty vanilla is a scrumptious sweet blend that fills the room with mmmmm! It's like being in a candy shop with warm pumpkin pie.

Pumpkin Spice Latte (NEW!) - A rich blend of coffee and pumpkin spices make this a rich delcious aroma great for fall.

Pumpkin Thyme - A Pumpkin custard with notes of Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Clove and Ginger.

Vanilla Hazelnut Pumpkin - This wonderful fragrance takes soothing vanilla and hazelnut and spikes it with scrumptious pumpkin and spices to make a blend that says "you're home."

Vanilla Pumpkin Spice - Vanilla bouquet with buttery nut nuances with spicy pumpkin.

1. What is your shop name and what do you sell?Our shop is whimsyandspice.etsy.com and we sell all sorts of handmade sweets like shortbread cookies, sandwich cookies, brownies, biscotti and handmade marshmallows, many of which incorporate spices into their flavors.

2. What is your shop URL? The Etsy shop address is http://www.whimsyandspice.etsy.com/. We have a website at http://www.whimsyandspice.com,/ which will have its own e-commerce functionality in the next few weeks.

3. What is your blog URL?We have a blog at http://www.sweetfineday.com/

4. When did you start selling on Etsy?We started selling on etsy 5 months ago in mid April.

5. What is your favorite thing about Etsy?There are so many talented people on Etsy! I'm always amazed at the wonderful and creative work that I see just coming to the front page everyday.

6. What is your favorite thing about what you sell?Our products make wonderful, affordable gifts since we take great care in our design and packaging. We love that some people are totally surprised by the flavor combinations of some of our sweets.

7. What is your favorite item in your own shop and why?We love our new cardamom marshmallows at the moment. They are fabulous in a hot drink and so Fall-like.

8. What teams do you belong to?We currently do not belong to any etsy teams.

9. What is the most fun thing you do to promote your shop?I think our blog has been a good marketing tool for us. It's a place to document our progress as a new business, record recipes that we develop, and to keep in touch with people. We've met a great deal of readers through our blog who have also become customers. We also love to give samples and cookies to people who want to try them!

10. What are some of your favorite finds by other sellers on Etsy?I just found this shop recently - little love blue (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5795747) and find her felted animals so enchanting. I also love the bags designed by moop (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5085436)

11. What do you do in your spare time?We find ourselves with very little spare time, but any spare time is spent with our kids. I work as a freelance designer almost full time and I run this shop with my husband who is the pastry chef. Whimsy & Spice is becoming a full time venture for us so our lives are quite busy balancing life/work/kids. When I do find myself with some rare free time, I like to draw, sew and make things.

1. What is your shop name and what do you sell? my shop is called plum.tree.studio and i sell appliqued clothing for babies and children. i also have recently started adding some small accessories (for children) to my shop.

4. What is your favorite thing about Etsy? the thing i love about etsy is seeing all of the creative people out there....i also love to be able to shop for one of a kind objects.

6. What is your favorite item in your own shop and why? i don't know if i really have a favorite right now...i love to make all of them...of course i like to break it up a bit..make a couple Robotic tees...then some Sally tees...throw in a pencil pouch. it makes it more interesting.

8. What is the most fun thing you do to promote your shop? i get involved with a variety of craft shows, meeting people from different areas and telling them about my online shop.
